“Hi Alan, about the divine feminine, is the energy being resurrected everywhere…it is within us, & when we share it—more love…yr thoughts?”

A huge topic and one that’s hard to do justice to in a brief comment.

Many traditions say we are moving from one cycle of time into another and these, the best of times and the worst of times, are the crossover period. A book by Grégoire de Kalbermatten, an author I much admire, posits that the last two cycles were the age of God the Father, him with the long white beard, pointing the finger and judging and punishing us, the age of God the Son, roughly the last two thousand years, and the new age, of God the Mother. His book is understandably called The Third Advent. Lots of thinkers agree on this.

Obviously, within each human being, we are each of us 50% masculine and 50% feminine, and there are qualities that can mainly be said to be one or the other.

From the point of view of spirituality and more specifically of transformation, which was of course what the world’s great religions were all about, at least from the standpoint of those who founded them, the sad truth is that they each failed in turn. They didn’t transform enough people, and indeed, in most cases, within a few generations of the death of the founder, they’d each in turn become external religions, i.e. about rituals, priests, buildings etc etc, whereas true religion, by definition, must be something that is internal, relevant to the individual and that individuals connection to a higher power.

So the big question is this, how do we connect to that higher power, which again, all the great religions say is within? They all say something along the lines of ‘the kingdom of God is within’. And that being so, why was it so hard for well-meaning practitioners to connect to what is inside them?

One can see this all around, the world is full of dreadful acts being committed in the name of God, whether it be priests molesting children or mullahs degrading women, or nearer at home, christians who will do everything but love their neighbor and forgive their enemies, the two core teachings of Jesus Christ. How could these people have that divine connection and do these things?

Here are some thoughts about this. The connection is not about knowledge, indeed, knowing stuff may be positively in the way. My granddaughter was born with this connection, and though she is 13 now, she ‘knows’ very little about it. For her, it’s as natural as breathing – and if you ask her about that, she doesn’t know much about that either. She just does both, as part of her everyday experience. But she has powers that people notice, wherever she goes, is school etc, teachers are aware there is something unusual about her.

What about people who aren’t born with the connection in place? It is almost impossible for people with big egos to get it, a prerequisite is that one must be willing to humble down, and in the West, most seekers aren’t willing, indeed, they use their knowledge to dominate others, or worse, to make a buck or two out of it – there are many willing to take your money to give you the connection, and they all can’t, although on the PT Barnum principle, they do very nicely out of it.

I have a collection of books about things like Kundalni awakening, interestingly not one tells you how to actually do it.

The really intriguing thing about the West, is that there are millions of seekers alive right now, but few finders. What is that?

How am I doing so far?

Warmest regards and best wishes
